1990년대 장르를 넘나드는 싱어송라이터로 활약하다가, 2000년대 중반 네덜란드의 전자악기 연구개발 기관 스타임(STEIM)의 엔지니어를 거쳐 2010년대에는 국내외 미술관, 갤러리, 페스티벌, 공연장 등에서 각종 사운드, 미디어 설치 작업 및 퍼포먼스를 선보이며 전방위로 활동하고 있는 아티스트 권병준. <또 다른 달 또 다른 생>은 권병준이 지난 10여 년 간 몰두해 온 실험과 작업을 하나의 퍼포먼스로 집대성한 것으로, 다양한 테크놀로지를 활용한 무대 장치, 영상, 홀로그램, 사운드, 빛의 설치 등으로 이루어진 멀티미디어 퍼포먼스이다. 물, 바람, 열, 증기, 빛, 소리 등 자연 현상을 재료로 활용하여 만든 공감각적 장치들은 한 공간 안에서 기묘한 조화를 이루며 새로운 존재감과 이야기를 드러낸다. 수증기 스크린, 공중을 가로지르는 스피커, 하이브리드 피아노 등 다양한 무대 장치들과 퍼포머들은 중력을 거스르는 듯한 모습으로 무대라는 공간을 유영한다. 여느 때처럼 공연장 객석에 착석한 관객들 앞에 테크놀로지와 자연, 가상과 실상, 안과 밖, 계획과 우연의 공존으로 구현된 또 다른 우주가 펼쳐지고, 관객들은 그 속에서 각자만의 이야기를 상상하고 모험을 꿈꾸는 특별한 경험을 하게 될 것이다.

This is an abbreviated version of the multimedia performance Un’altra Luna, Un’altra Vita staged for the first time at the LIG Art Center in 2014 and designed by Kwon Byungjun who has curated the scenery, images, sound and lighting. The performance is realised by him together with the artists Kim Sungwhan, Bae Minkyung and Yun SuHee. The story of a new existence A strange harmony between audiovisual and tactile materials inspired by natural elements such as water, wind, heat, steam and light. Represented before a live audience is a life characterised by the coexistence between technology and nature in which fiction and reality, interior and exterior, panning and coincidence are counterposed; the public are presented with a new experience and may dream of adventure, imagine a story.
